IM1022          EXPANDED SEEK FOR CONTROL DOCUMENT SYNCHRONIZATION

   DESCRIPTION:    This correction notice should be applied only if merge
                   failures occur due to poor handling of items and/or
                   maintenance of prime pass sorters. The effect of this change
                   is to allow Synchronization seeks to be an additional 65
                   items further out of position (total seek raised to 130
                   items).
